Different Types of GPS Fleet Tracking Reports
There are various types of GPS fleet tracking reports available to you when you invest in a GPS fleet tracking system. Some common ones include:
Speed Alert Report
This report will show you all triggered speed alerts. You simply set up this alert in the alerts menu to view data from this report. You will then go to ‘Speeding Report’ to see speeding incidents only.
Excessive Idling
If you have fleet trucks that are idling excessively, this will waste fuel and cost you money. The excessive idling GPS Tracker report provides you with a detailed list of all vehicle incidents of idling for longer than your specified minimum time.
Device Mileage by State
This report will break down vehicle mileage by state for your selected time period. You will see the state, vehicle ID and the total amount of miles the vehicle traveled in each state with this report.
Zone Activity Reports
When your fleet vehicles come in and exit designated geofenced areas, the zone activity report gives you data on where and when it happened. There are lists displayed to you when you click on this GPS tracker report which will detail all of your devices as well as your zones.
Aggressive Driving Report
This report will measure and report 35 mph or greater velocity changes. The reported speed (Speed 1) is shown before the event trigger (deceleration or acceleration). The reported speed (Speed 2) shows the change in MPH after Speed 1. For you to see where it happened you would have to click the lat/long coordinates and it will display the address. When you click on the address, it shows the location of the event on a Google Map page.
These GPS tracker reports provide you with all the details of where your company vehicles are being driven daily. You can record the mileage driven which can help you cut down fuel costs and improve routing and you will have knowledge of when and where your vehicles are used.
With this information, you have a new level of employee accountability and a new level of security for your fleet company.
